Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Swakopmund

Arrive in Swakopmund and settle into your coastal hotel. Optional transfers are available from Walvis Bay Airport or Windhoek. Take the evening to stroll the promenade and prepare for the expedition ahead.

Day 2: Swakopmund – Expedition Briefing

Enjoy a relaxed day with optional activities such as a city tour, boat cruise, or sea kayaking. Meet your expedition leader in the late afternoon for a comprehensive briefing over welcome sundowners.

Day 3: Spitzkoppe & Damaraland

Depart in 4x4 expedition vehicles, heading to the 700-million-year-old Spitzkoppe. Explore ancient rock art and striking granite formations before venturing deep into Damaraland's vast rock desert.

We have limited packing space on the vehicles, tents are bulky items and as such we do require people of same gender to share. Single tents may be supplied for those with valid health reasons.

Clients must ensure that passports, visas or other travel documents are valid for the duration of their stay in Namibia and other areas included in tour. The company will entertain no complaints related to invalid travel documentation.

  • Expect limited or no electricity, running water, or mobile reception during camping nights.

  • All specialist camping equipment is provided; guests should bring comfortable clothing and a sense of adventure.

Health & Mobility Guidance

  • Malaria prophylaxis is recommended for the Kunene region.

  • Travelers should be in good physical condition to manage uneven terrain and remote conditions.

  • The journey is not suitable for guests with significant mobility restrictions.
