Tour Overview

On this trip, we dive right into what nature offers at two key destinations in Namibia, Etosha National Park and the world-famous Namib Naukluft (Sossusvlei). We'll camp out in tents under the star-studded skies, chill by the campfire in the evenings, listen to the call of nature and travel through some wonderfully diverse scenery.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Etosha South

Accommodation: Etosha Omusati o/s     Meals: Lunch & Dinner       Distance: 440 km

With a packed travel vehicle, we leave the capital and head north. Small settlements, farms and towns will shape the itinerary for the morning. We'll set up camp before exploring Etosha National Park's rich wildlife. Already at the first water hole several species of antelopes could greet us.

Collection time: 08h00 – 08h30

Day 2: Etosha National Park

Accommodation: Onguma Tamboti Campsite o/s       Meals: Full Board

The vastness of Etosha National Park truly hits you when you travel from the southern part to the far eastern section. We navigate smaller roads, moving from one waterhole to another, aiming to spot as many animals as we can throughout the day.

Day 3: Etosha National Park East

Accommodation: Onguma Tamboti Campsite o/s       Meals: Full Board

After an early breakfast, we set off to Etosha National Park to maximize wildlife viewing potential. Have your camera and your binoculars ready. Your unforgettable experience is about to start.

Day 4: Etosha to Windhoek

Accommodation: Urban Camp o/s      Meals: Bed, Breakfast & Light Lunch      Distance: 545 km

Our journey back to Windhoek takes us through the mining town of Tsumeb and onward through the farmlands towards Okahandja. Here, we can stop at a wood carving market to pick up some last-minute souvenirs.

Arrival: Between 15h00 – 17h00

Day 5: Sesriem Campsite, Sesriem/Sossusvlei

Accommodation: Sesriem Oshana Campsite o/s     Meals: Full Board      Distance: 310 km

A short drive through the city as we head out towards the Gamsberg. Our drive takes us through farmland crossing the Tropic of Capricorn and down the escarpment to meet the desert floor as we arrive at our campsite in the Sesriem area.

Collection time: 08h00 – 08h30

Day 6: A Guest Farm, Naukluft Mountains

Accommodation: Weltevrede Guest Farm o/s       Meals: Full Board     Distance: 170 km

The world famous Naukluft area showcases Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei. Experience the feeling of vastness and isolation with dunes that are some of the highest in the world. A photographers dream as the early morning light plays with colours from apricot to red.

Day 7: End of Journey

Distance: 260 km

Our route today takes us back towards Solitaire from here we travel to the town of Rehoboth, an area of natural hot water springs, before arriving back to the city of Windhoek.

Arrival: 15h00 – 16h00

We have limited packing space on the vehicles, tents are bulky items and as such we do require people of same gender to share.

Clients must ensure that passports, visas or other travel documents are valid for the duration of their stay in Namibia and other areas included in tour. The company will entertain no complaints related to invalid travel documentation.
